Field of Membership

Membership in Angelina Federal Employees Credit Union shall be open to all present career federal and postal employees, federal, postal and military retirees, who work or reside in Angelina, Cherokee, Houston, Jasper, Liberty, Nacogdoches, Newton, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity, Tyler and Walker counties. Membership is also open to immediate families of all members. Immediate family is defined as spouse, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren, in-laws, brothers, sisters. The cost of membership being $25 (1 full share) which must be left on deposit as long as you are a member.

COMPLAINTS
This credit union is incorporated under the laws of the State of Texas and under state law is subject to regulatory oversight by the Texas Credit Union Department. Any member wishing to file a complaint against the credit union should contact the Texas Credit Union Department through one of the means indicated below:

USA PATRIOT ACT

The USA PATRIOT Act requires credit unions to take extra security precautions to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities. Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. These new procedures are designed to prevent crimes, such as identity theft and account fraud that terrorists commit to finance their operations against the U.S. and its citizens.
